Social media is often an exceptionally strange place. From people going viral for the dumbest reasons imaginable to a frowning cat (RIP) being a staple in meme culture. Also the very fact there is such a thing as “meme culture” at all. In the automotive world, this weirdness continues, with the most recent example coming from Dodge…
No, what you’re looking at is not a spy photo of the new Charger EV. It is, in fact, a photo taken by Dodge itself, which was then posted to their Facebook page for the world to see. Now I don’t think this is the first time an automaker has “leaked” its own product, but it’s not exactly a common practice either.
An in-depth analysis regarding the design of Dodge’s EV will be saved for a standalone article. For now, I want to bring attention to the fact the production car seems to have stayed remarkably faithful to its originator. The general proportions are there, roughly 85 percent of the design features are present, and it seems the styling didn’t get watered down too much going from concept to production. Overall, I would say this is a nice job on the part of the designers! That isn’t to say I’m without some criticisms, but again, that deserves its own article.

For now, what do you think about the ’25 Charger EV? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
