Yep! We’ve got more spy shots of the upcoming ’20 Silverado HD (
If you don’t know, the High Country is the top-of-the-line trim level for the Silverado. So what we’re looking at here is the most luxurious truck Chevrolet makes currently in the testing phase. Despite the camera-disrupting pattern on the truck, the camo is pretty light on this truck. The only time it gets fairly heavy is on the 4Runner-looking grille.
Because of the light overall
There was also a Silverado LT out for our spy photographers to snatch up.
The “LT” trim level isn’t the base level, but the second-to-base. Interestingly, like the top-of-the-line High Country, this Silverado also has the side-step on the bed (in front of the rear wheel arch). Does this mean the side-step will be an option on the base trim level? Or is an option only for LT and up? Again, only time will tell.
What is evident is the cheaper looking headlights through the camo. Unlike the LEDs of the High Country, these units definitely look more “cost effective” than the more expensive (luxurious) units of the first truck we looked at.
One thing many people will remember is how Chevy and GMC added functional hood scoops onto their trucks for the ’18MY. For those who were fans of this addition, it looks like Chevy/GMC will be continuing the hood scoops for the 2020MY. Albeit they seem to be far smaller than the ones on the current HD trucks.
That’s it for now. Thanks for reading! See you soon.
