The 2003-2006 Dodge Viper

Overview

The bad boy. Introduced in 2002 (2003 MY), the Gen 3 Viper is often considered the “controversial” snake in the pit. All new from the ground up, the “bad boy” perception is a bit of a misnomer. With more power, better handling, better brakes, a bigger engine, less weight, and other significant improvements, the Gen 3 more than lives up to the bodacious character of the Viper. However, its styling isn’t as beloved as other gens and its value on the used car market used to be perilously close to the more powerful Gen 4.
