Who here remembers when Dodge released their 50th Anniversary Edition Dodge Challenger? I do, and one of the things I recall being the highlight of this special edition for me (excluding the fact it was a widebody Chally with a shaker hood) was the gold color that was offered from the factory. It was unlike any yellow Dodge had created previous and pleasantly rich to boot, so it seemed like a no-brainer that it would be a popular color for this special edition coupe. However, fast forward a few years and that doesn’t seem to be the case. In full transparency, I’ve only seen one of these Challengers in the real-life (the hero image is the car I saw this year) but I don’t recall seeing any photos of this color online from many others either. To rectify this, I’m reaching out to the DriveTribe community to ask a simple question: Have you seen one of these Challengers in this color IRL? If so, can you drop a photo of it in the comments below for all of us to enjoy (assuming you took a photo)? Thanks a bunch!
Dodge supposedly offered the 50th Ann Challenger Widebody in both purple and gold, but I’ve yet to see one in the latter color!
